Newspaper, local of course, was my inspiration for these unique pieces. Just flicking through until I headline or a photograph catches my eye and I have a wee moment of inspiration with an image in mind to create a piece of art.

Working on the newsprint with charcoal pastel and ink gives this unusual effect and I'm glad I remembered the technique from my art college days as it's an enjoyable process.
